How To Make Acorn Kisses Cookies (Feat: Nutter Butter Bites and Hershey’s Kisses!)

I saw these little guys atop cupcakes somewhere on Pinterest… Acorn Kisses Cookies!

I thought, “I can figure those out!”

I added the word “kisses” to the recipe name because they are made with Hershey’s Kisses, thus ACORN KISSES COOKIES!

(By the way, if acorn-y snacks aren’t your thing, check out this DIY on painting ACTUAL acorns for a craft or a creative fall decor twist!)

I figured I could easily figure out how to make these cute kisses…

What I didn’t know was how much my family would like them!

Which is totally dumb on my part because… WHY WOULDN’T MY FAMILY THINK THEY ARE AWESOME? IT’S PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE, AND TOTAL CUTENESS DUH.

With just right mix of crunch and chocolate and of course peanut butter… mixed perfectly with adorableness… these were a TOTAL hit.

There are just 5 ingredients, and none of the ingredients involve turning on an over or mixing.

Acorn Kisses Cookies Ingredients:

Nutter Butter Bites (I said “minis in the video)

Hershey’s Kisses

Mini chocolate chips

Nutella (or whatever chocolate spread… chocolate frosting, even!)

Peanut butter

What makes these even MORE fun is they are a GREAT little food craft to do with the little ones!

If you struggle to figure out the how-to by the ingredient list above, FRET NOT! I made a video!

They kind-of feel like an appetizer cookie.

So be careful, you can fill up on the pretty quick.

Or don’t be careful.

I’m not the boss of you!

Speaking of acorns, here’s a video on how to paint your own acorns. Like, using REAL acorns! Aren’t they SO CUTE?!
