Yet another dream come true…

Not only am I the internet, but…

I can check another item off my bucket/life list:

Be one of the celebrity names drawn and acted out in a game of celebrity charades!

DONE.

I was talking to Stacey today. An aside: She is breaking the hearts of people for miles around because she and her family are moving to Portland andhowwillweevergoonwithouther???!!!

*boohoo*

Here’s a picture of Stacey and I and our signif oths… just keepin’ it real back in the day…

APRIL 2010, YA’LLL!!!

Team Liquid Nails

Don’t mess. Our friend Andrea had b-day scavenger hunt… and we were a team. We were intimidating the competition. Our team name? TEAM LIQUID NAILS.

*squirt squirt*

Don’t mess with Team Liquid Nails.

Clearly.

Aaanywho. She was telling me about the time she played celebrity charades with some friends… and then I, in my usual never-thinking-of-myself tone I added, “OOOH! My life goal is to one day be a celebrity so someone can play me in celebrity charades!”

AND YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID???

“OH MY GOSH YOU WERE!”

And I was all, “Nuh-uh!”

And she was all, “Uh-HUH!”

Apparently some very smart, savvy, attractive person at that party added my humble, meek name to that bowl-o-celeb names.

Now I just need my EGOT.

I just wish I had been there to see who had to act me out. So I could apologize.

Unrelated,

I made a hedgermelon!

A hedgermelon

That Pinterest has me making watermelons into hedgehogs.

OK.

That’s all.

Peace and sparkles! And may all your dreams come true and whathaveyou.

  1. Andrea says:

You were! And I guessed it–and the “describer” said “FAMOUS MOM BLOGGER who lives in our hometown” PS I cannot figure out how to “pin” on pintrest–I’m sooo confused and computer challenged! Ugh!

  2. Stacey says:

I feel like one of my “life list” items can be checked off…I got my very own tag mark in your blog history. Where’s my EGOT baby?!

  3. Jennie says:

Hi Jenny! Totally random connection, here…but your husband (obviously just as much of a guitar nerd as MINE) bought an amp from my hubby a few weeks ago. At the time, I was taking pictures of our dinner and explained that I had just started a food blog. He was like, “My wife is a blogger!” At the time, you were at the BlogHer convention…SPEAKING. Ohmyword, I felt so cool to have the significant other of a BlogHer speaker IN MY HOUSE!!

When I first checked out your site, I read in your “About Me” (I think) that you liked comments and it made me feel half-way normal. I’m NOT some crazy narcissist. Sure, I like writing and am excited about food/baking/nutrition…but I.LOVE.COMMENTS!! 🙂 Hehe… SO, I’ve been popping over to your blog here and there and thought I should actually leave you a comment…and not be such a lurker. 🙂

  4. That is awesome. I should add becoming a celebrity charade to my life list….how fabulous.
