Take It On Tuesday! Surviving the Wild (or my own backyard) Part 1

It’s Take It On Tuesday, people! Today I take on MY OWN BACKYARD!

If you are familiar with the wilder 2 acres of my property, you would have just felt chills up your spine because – IT’S SCARY.

My friend Jill of Baby Rabies put me up to this. SHE is to blame credit. Well, except… if I remember correctly she ay have challenged me to do it in the dark.

NUH.UH. Full-on daylight was treacherous enough!

Now, the question remains… DID I MAKE IT BACK… IN ONE PIECE? Tune in next week to find out.

    Hi Jenny,

The “Blair Witch” scream made the entire adventure worthwhile.

  2. Lu says:

You live in the damn forest! LOL You crack me up.

  3. SO PROUD OF YOU! And really glad you lived because 1. YAY you’re alive! and 2. I don’t want to be responsible for anything bad happening to you. That was hilarious. Can’t wait to see part 2!

  4. Jo says:

Obvi you made it back silly, you blogged about it!! Crazy head. You are braver than me…good thing you have Kevin with you to protect you!! You are a ROCK STAR I keep telling you that…maybe you will believe me one day… 😉

  5. Michelle says:

I am so glad you didn’t get eaten by rabbits.
That totally happens around here. Next time, though you might want to bring some carrots for a distraction. It’s a well-known fact they crave human flesh…AND carrots!
Blackberry thorns on the other hand, are E-V-I-L!!
    Nice job, friend:)

  6. Kim Conger says:

Oh my gosh! You did great but I was yelling at the screen, “don’t do it, Jenny, don’t do it”. You are SO brave. Thanks for making me laugh and freak out at the same time.

  7. Sheila says:

You can hike with me anytime, you’ll be bear deterrent 😉

But if for some reason all the menfolk die and the grocery stores close, I’ll hunt alone.

I’ll share what I bring back, if you do the dishes.

    Too funny!

Seriously, way to step out of your comfort zone! That is an exercise we all should do!
