Take It On Tuesday: How To Make Glitter-Filled Starbucks Cold Cup!

It is Take It On Tuesday and I am taking on how to make a glitter filled insulated cold cup!

More specifically, the…

Starbucks Cold Cup

I followed this how-to that I found on Pinterest.

But I had to make a video. Because that’s what I do.

Glitter + Starbucks cold cup = MUST DO.

In summary, you need an insulated Starbucks cold cup (or other brand if you can find one). It has to be the kind of cold cup with a removable center. They are very hard to find. The only other things you need are glossy adhesive spray (I used Mod Podge), & GLITTER.

And, if you watched the video, you will know to use the gloss spray in a well-ventilated area.

*cough hack*

And dudes. I think I have found my new favorite picture:

And while I had the stuff out, I blinged-out an old wine bottle as well. You can find my tutorial for DIY Glittered Wine Bottles here.

Today was one of the happiest days of my life. Give or take a day or two.

GLITTER in my Starbucks cold cup, y’all!!! The glitter is in the cup, but not IN the drink.

Which is very important. While glitter is awesome and such, it is not so much meant to be ingested.

Now, go – TAKE THIS ON! IT IS SO EASY!!! And if you do it, I’d love to see pictures of yours? Did you use gold? Or silver? Pink? RAINBOW?

I get lots of compliments on mine. My only warning is, keep an eye on your precious glittered Starbucks cold cup. This is a coveted item. Don’t leave this little treasure sitting around. Trust no one.

And if you come across insulated cold cups with the removable center, but ALL OF THEM. They are a hot commodity. And if you do find any, email me. Seriously.

  13. […] These Pinspired cups were so fun and easy (albeit a bit messy thanks to all the glitter)! Even my 4 year old helped make them. They make a great homemade gift too (I’m thinking my kids teachers would love these)!  Just pop a Starbucks gift card inside. As far as I can tell, the original idea for these is by Crafting College and found this post but I actually first saw it via Pinterest which linked to this post. […]
