I am having a hard time letting go of summer.
One reason might be we have had a very mild “summer” here in the Pacific Northwest. And also because I just don’t feel like we adequately “did” summer.
I want her back. Come back Summer! Since she won’t come back… this post is dedicated to what I would say was our last summer “hurrah”. My friend’s hubby turned 40. Or shall we call it FORKty…
We headed to a local beach to celebrate… crabs, mussels, good friends and happy kids. Given our weather, it was a risk to party on the beach, but we were all given the gift of a gorgeous day.

The big news of the afternoon was THE LOST TOOTH. One little boy had a loose tooth. FOR A YEAR. But when he and my son collided, it was just enough for to knock that stubborn tooth out.
*Ouch*
Did I mention food?
