Office Depot Rewards and Back-To-School! #ODRewards

It’s that time of the year again. As much as we want summer to last forever… that’s just not how things work.

We are standing on the edge of the BACK TO SCHOOL cliff.

Whether your kids go to school or they stay a bit closer as you take on the noble task of homeschooling… take a long whiff. You can smell them as early as July… SCHOOL SUPPLIES.

I have joined forces with Office Depot during the month of August. I am excited to work with them as we work together to give YOU information and incentives to make your back to school experience a better one. As with all sponsored content… all opinion, and reaction are my own. Speaking of reaction, can’t you just smell the freshly sharpened pencils?!!! An aside: be sure to come back this weekend when I share some washi and duct tape creativity! You know I do love me some fancy tape. Since we have to acquire school supplies anyway, why not earn a little bit towards our investment. We all know school supply shopping is an investment! Today, I’m going to give you a bit of information about Office Depot’s Rewards program. I am definitely a gal who loves a good rewards program. When we shop at Office Depot, we are not only able to find every-stinking-school-supply on the class list, but we get rewarded for shopping where we can find everything! Everything. Last year I may or may not have shopped not taking advantage of this program because I didn’t know about it. The thing is, I ended up having to finish-up my back-to-school shopping at Office Depot. I should have just headed there first, y’all. With Office Depot Rewards, shoppers benefit when they spend money they were already going to spend. The program is:

  • A points-based system… $1=10 points
  • One may redeem rewards monthly instead of quarterly
  • How about receiving points for recycling? OK!
  • There are exclusive member promotions
  • Benefits can be personalized according to preferences (loyal customers, Star Teachers, & local business)
  • Promotions are customized to products that are relevant
  • Choice membership is earned once spending hits 2,000 points in a quarter

  1. Mom of 2 - School Supplies says:

We just did a calculation that each kid in our school uses 2-3 pencils a WEEK! We asked a couple teachers and the Ticonderoga pencils seem to be the best in the classroom. I wish the teachers would add that suggestion to the school supply list, had I not seen this post and asked a couple people I probably wouldn’t have thought about the quality of the pencils that my girls use at school. This is their tool as they are learning to write. I am happy to provide my girls with quality tools for learning!

    • As I have had to sharpen hundreds of dozens of pencils over the last many years… I have discovered this on my own. Ticonderoga cost more, but they sharpen and break less. I can’t tell you how many cheap pencils were literally unsharpenable. I’d “sharpen” them to the nub. Might as well have sharpened a dollar bill itself!
