In Which I Need Solid Shoe Advice (Vlog)

This picture has nothing to do with this post. I was alone in my hotel room and I decided to play peek-a-boo with my camera.

My camera and me… always playing games. But not Scrabble. Cami is not good at spelling. Nor Chutes and Ladders.

I was dumb.

I bought a pair of very cute and inexpensive heels.

That wasn’t the dumb part…

TheΒ ill-fittingΒ part… that was where Dumb made her limpy entrance.

When I tried on this cute and inexpensive pair of shoes I thought they fit *pretty good*. Since they were almost *exactly* what I was looking for, I convinced me that the part that felt not quite right wasn’t going to be a big deal.

But I was wrong.

It’s rare, but it happens.

And I find myself in a spot. Jenny is in a spot. I need some advice… because I don’t want to quit them…

Is there any hope for me and my future with these brown peep-toed heels?

Jenny!! you are so in luck!! Pop over to amazon and pick up some of these–> “Heavenly-Heelz – Back of the Heel Cushions – Stop Heels from Slipping Out of Shoes by Foot Petals in Black, Buttercup or Silver” no I didn’t make them or sell them or have any interest in this company. I just want you to be able to wear your cute shoes. #RockOn Happy Wednesday!

  2. Hop on over to Nordy’s and pick up some “Super Feet”…I swear by those suckers!

  3. Jo says:

I got nothin’ Jen, but it looks like those gals ^^^^ up there got your back! I just love your photo, though!! I love black and white photos!!

An aside…. Since I’ve lost weight I have that problem with nearly all my dress shoes =( It seems I carry a lot of weight in my chubby lil’ feet.

  4. Sheila says:

No fahionista am I either, but I do have feet issues with two different leg lengths and foot sizes and what not so I am becoming an expert in making my shoes fit!

You need some Heel Grips. Simple, easy, affordable. JCPenny or Amazon haz gots them. Wanna go shopping? I need a cute pair o shoes or two myself πŸ˜‰

  5. Lu says:

You make me laugh. Dr. Scholls makes heel liners and I had them on at Blissdom. Helped me to not have a throbbing heel. Try them out.

  6. The Lazy Mom says:

This sounds SO off the wall, but put a panty liner in your shoe! Someone gave me this tip a long time ago and then I saw it on Kathie Lee and Hoda one morning as well! She had the same problem and it worked!

  7. Crystal says:

Very inexpensive fix – get some moleskin (it’s used by hikers for helping with blisters) and put it on the inside of your shoe. Soft, no rubbies, and a bit of grip. πŸ™‚ You can get it at Target or most drug store/grocery store places.

  8. Emily says:

I was JUST going to recommend those little Foot Petals things, but Michelle has got it covered! It’s like my gram-gram always told me: “Fashion hurts. Grin and bear it.” But my gram-gram is like a million now and can get away with wearing tennis shoes to church if she wants to, so…take it or leave it.

  9. Kerry says:

I love both those shoes. I want both those shoes. Seriously? I’d stick some gum in the back of those cute babies and wear one of each.

    For Reals.

    I have done this.

    You can say it.

    Dork! πŸ™‚

    Hope this helps xx

  10. Sounds like your friends have got you covered – some heel liners will fix those up.

You totally made me smile out loud w your video (as per usual) — adore and miss you!

No fix it ideas–just made me laugh out loud! I have TOTALLY done this before!! I have this awesome pair in my closet right now that I bought when I was just a few months pregnant (um, really? BAD idea!! haha). You should check out all the different ideas in the comments and let us know what works the best! πŸ™‚
