Also, she’s is such a down-to-earth, kind woman.
This book covers the digital parenting gamut… technology, home life, community, use contracts, boundaries, cyber bullies, guided example conversations, and more. This is a fantastic sit-and-read guidebook for today’s tech-consumed family. If you have kids and teens who live anywhere in the online world… this book is a fantastic resource. You can find it on Amazon here.
The Teen Girl’s Singing Guide – Tips for Making Singing the Center of Your Life by Nancy Bos
I met Nancy at a local coworking space, Vibe Coworks. Nancy has the most velvet speaking voice, so it came as no surprise to me that she is a vocal coach and knower-of-all things singing and voice! Since one of my daughters is very “into” singing, I thought it was especially cool that the author of a singing book written FOR teen girls lives right here in my very own community!
Nancy graciously gave me a copy of her book. By the time we met, my daughter had made singing (and acting) the center of her life, but this book is an excellent resource for teen girls wanting to dig deeper who need some guidance and encouragement. Nancy has such a kind, genuine heart that comes through in her book. As does her profound love for singing, and her deeply held belief that “singing makes people better”.
If you or a teen girl you know would like to explore singing deeper, check out Nancy’s book here. It’s written for the girl, not the parent. It’s an easy read, and stuff full with helpful advice and encouragement.
Nancy also gifted me another book, Singing 101.
This book is for all ages, styles, and abilities. In it she covers singing essentials and gives activities to practice so one can take a first step into singing without the big investment of a singing teacher. You can find Singing 101 here on Amazon, and it’s also available on Audible!
