Advice for High School Grads & Senior Portraits from the 90s
In today’s video I share a piece of…
Advice for High School Grads!
There is a lot of advice one can give to upcoming grads.
But they don’t really take advice anyway so I just stuck with one piece of advice… just in case.
I also shared pictures from my own senior portrait set, and a few others from my senior year – spiral perm and all…
(Trouble viewing video? Watch it here!)
So here is what I want to know from YOU…what advice do YOU have for graduating seniors?
I mean, not that they’ll listen, but we don’t really care if anyone is listening anyway… EVERYONE LOOOOVES TO GIVE UNSOLICITED ADVICE.
I’m sure the teens are especially eager to listen to advice from someone who used to look like this too:
I LOVED Janet Jackson.
I LOOOOVED Rhythm Nation. Still do. In fact… let’s all take a moment to watch that video:
NOTE TO YOUNGER SELF: FIND KEY TO ATTACH TO EARRING.
Also… WHO WANTS TO START A RHYTHM NATION DANCE CLUB? Now I’m all fired up to learn all the moves to that song, ESPECIALLY from 3:53 on… WHEW!
Just watching that elevated my heart rate.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Coolest countdown ever.
Plus, the message is still pretty darn relevant, y’all.
Speaking of advice… and school… let’s not forget to PULL FORWARD. M’kay?
Spread the word.
Knowledge is power.
