About my Oreck Magnesium RS, oh… and how about a GIVEAWAY?!!!

You read that right – ORECK and GIVEAWAY in the SAME SENTENCE!

I was recently sent an Oreck Magnesium RS and the Oreck Ultimate Handheld vacuum cleaner to check out… AND TO GIVE  AWAY.

I am pretty sure whoever wins their own little duo will be a pretty happy camper winner!

I have a lot of love for my Magnesium RS… Not only is she light (7.7 pounds!):

But she can be used on my wood floors… MULTI-SURFACE FTW!

And has a little brush do-hickey on the side which helps get all the dirt/fuzz/dog hair that gathers at the base boards:

And she SUCKS.

And when one says a vacuum cleaner SUCKS… it is a COMPLIMENT.

This extremely light and nimble unit is powerful.

I absolutely love it.

As does my daughter. WHICH IS PRETTY HANDY!

The only con is having to replace the bag. I have another vacuum that is bagless, and I do really like that feature. However, the vacuum is terribly bulky, weighs about 1800 pounds (give or take), and the suction is not nearly as impressive. If I had to make a purchasing decision… I’d choose the Magnesium RS.

I mean look… even the littlest of my spawn can haul the vacuum upstairs:

Aaaaand she can do the vacuuming herself! Which she’s thrilled to do. Now. But check back with me in 2 years *wink*.

I don’t want to neglect mentioning the Ultimate Handheld unit either! I think a picture is worth a thousand words:

That’s my husband. Way high up on the plant shelf (I’m not a fan of heights)… the long cord makes vacuuming super hard-to-get-to places vacuum-able! The handheld vac comes with a number of attachments and a strap that keeps the unit close and manageable. Hooray!
