It’s a campaign lead by the people of GoGo squeeZ… created with the intent to bring the joy of play across the country to those who need it!
And really, don’t we all need PLAY?!
Participation in the “Pass the Play” campaign is easy . It’s easy for a kid of any age to get involved:
- Email community@gogosqueez.com to request a “Pass the Play” kick ball and play the largest game of catch. 10,000 kick balls are being distributed nationwide. Folks can enjoy the simple goodness of play and then pass that play to someone they know that needs some play in their life. Everyone who registers a ball is entered to win fun prizes. Track the kick balls at www.PassthePlay.com.
- Of course, there is always Twitter! Tweet #passtheplay and $1 will be donated to The Fresh Air Fund with the goal of raising $25,000, which will allow more inner-city boys and girls to participate in programs that can change the course of a child’s life!
- And/or… head on out to one of the 10 “Pass the Play” mobile playgrounds across the country.
Be sure to visit the official campaign site at PassthePlay.com to find all the “Pass the Play” stops across the country, but the tour kicks off on May 26th during the Decatur Arts Festival in Atlanta, Ga.
This is not a picture of the arts festival in Decatur, but a picture of my daughter racing her heart out to clench second place in a local kids fun run at our own local festival. That little girl of mine? SHE. PLAYS.
Speaking of fun runs… my kids’ school had a fun run earlier this month and GoGo squeeZ generously donated their squeezable, re-sealable, no-mess applesauce (100% fruit and no added sugar) for a finish line treat. I made a little video. Because – HOW COULD I NOT?
For more information, please visit: www.gogosqueez.com you can also find them on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube!
*I have partnered with GoGo squeeZ as a member of the squeeZ squad. Over the next few months I will be helping them pass the play.
