#GiveH2OPE – Shopping at Walgreens
I’ve partnered with Walgreens to help spread the word about a great partnership they have with Unilever… So, yes, this is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.
Unilever and Walgreens have joined forces for the first time with Me to We to provide customers with a new way to make a positive impact on the world through their everyday purchases by shopping at Walgreens.
Give Hope 2 Others (#GiveH2OPE) enables Walgreens customers to make a life-changing difference for children and families in need overseas.
One Unilever product purchase equals five gallons of clean water donated to families and communities in need.
Let me break it all down… next time you need some body wash or shampoo or deodorant or SCHOOL SUPPLIES… head on over to Walgreens (Or Duane Reade)! Now through September 30, purchases made at Walgreens of select Unilever TRESemmé®, Suave® or Caress® products will help provide up to 15 million gallons of clean water to communities in these developing countries. Each item you buy earns gets 5 gallons of water, so now would be a great time to STOCK UP!
While I was there not only did I pick up shampoo and body wash, I checked the last of our back-to-school items off our list. I thought I had extra spiral bound notebooks, but I did not and geometry class DEMANDS a notebook. Actually, SEVERAL.
By shopping at Walgreens and purchasing four Unilever items… I helped bring 20 gallons of clean water to people who need it. There is so much need – locally and globally. It’s easy to help locally, but with programs like this it is very easy to help meet needs globally as well. All while taking care of the list of things we need for our own family. Handy. And good.
#GiveH2OPE… it’s so easy.
Plus, you guys, you can TRACK YOUR IMPACT! You can enter the code on the bottle or the bar code number and find where your help has landed and how much water has been donated so far! This is what I saw when I plugged in one of mine:
