I was contacted by the folks at Collective Bias to review and share about my experience with the Walmart Scan & Go app. Though this is a sponsored post, my opinion and user experience is not. Opinion expressed here is all mine…
Sometimes I feel a bit app overloaded. So many apps, so little time. It takes a lot for an app to stand out and become a regular for me. Or maybe it takes a little… for me, the simpler an app is… the better.
Once I familiarized myself with this new app, it was smooth sailing. I made an error at first… instead of selecting the “Scan & Go” tab on the bottom right, I selected the “Scan” button. The scan feature is excellent for price check, but won’t get you scannin’ and goin’.
So…make sure you select the Scan & Go tab – bottom right.
Scan (while you shop)
And GO.
Check it out!

I loved the ease of use. I loved being able to see how my groceries were adding up. I didn’t get to use the coupon feature because I got a little distracted by the other bells and whistles! My husband was with me (my videographer) and he was impressed too. I can’t tell you how really, really wonderful it was to walk up to the checkout and not have to unload, scan, bag, and re-load my cart. Even with my husband there, my 8 year old is never the most patient in lines. Or wants to help scan. With the Scan & Go app, she can help me scan at our own pace instead of feeling the pressure of those waiting in line behind us.
If you watched the video, you saw I made some cookies. I have pinned a number of self-claimed “best ever” chocolate chip cookie recipes. But none have ever beat the simple recipe of my childhood… This is my mom’s recipe. I share it with you… for making happy taste buds and bellies.
Also, it may or may not be the very best tasting in raw for as well. It’s what I hear…
