The Clorox Ick Awards… For Those Messy Life Moments

As parents… a.k.a. The Keepers Little Germ Carriers… messes and icky things are a integral part of our life.

From carrying baby wipes or hand sanitizer everywhere we go, to stretching the “5 second rule” into a “10 second rule”… our lives are consumed with germ containment.

We work hard!

But there is no applause for our job well done. Only messes.

Enter: THE CLOROX ICK AWARDS!

The Clorox Ick Awards (feat: #ICKIES) are your “reality” awards show, honoring those situations and experiences that we can all relate to.

That’s right – finally an awards show we can relate to! Mark you calendar, because on Wednesday, April 9 from 6 – 10 p.m. ET. on Twitter your real-life, real-time submissions will inspire The Second City Communications’ improv sketches, which will be shared live!

This is a must-see, people.

Speaking of must-see… one time, Lucy was really, really quiet and she was really, really quiet because she found mommy’s stamp pad.

That was fun.

For her.

And really… after the initial shock wore off… I just had to laugh. And laugh. And laugh.

Clorox gets that, so they came up The Ick Awards as a way for us to commiserate bond… and laugh.

The Clorox Ick Awards are about making the messy stuff fun for us. The ones battling the messes every day. A hilarious host that is sure to impress will be hosting the Clorox Ick Awards on Twitter, and the host will kick things off with an opening sketch at 6 p.m. ET that is not to be missed!

How cool is that?

Clorox has it right… the only way to get through some of these messes is through humor.

Because when you find your 2 year old guzzling a jug-o-pancake syrup while standing in a puddle of said pancake syrup – some-mommy needs to know she is not alone.
