I’m toying with an idea…
Making/creating/designing printables.
Downloads.
Sharables.
I don’t know.
But I DO know… I like printables. I like prints. I like typography. And simple graphics.
I like to hang them on my walls…
I like to frame them.
(Please excuse the pear border. Meh.)
I’ve downloaded from websites. I’ve ordered on Etsy and Big Cartel. And I’ve made my own.
I’ve been thinking lately… I love that stuff so much, maybe I should make my own.
Maybe?
I am no designer. I hesitate because… what if I a real designer-y person saw one of my creations and wanted to gouge out one of his/her artistic eyes because I centered too much or too little. My former days as a scrapbooker taught me I fear white space… what if I over design? What if I am the only one who likes what I like?
Plus, there’s the technical end. Like, if YOU want to download a design, at this point I may not be able to really help troubleshoot. Or I may.
I DON’T KNOW.
But if we let fear of the unknown stop us 1) we never will and/OR 2) we will never learn (how to help others download, etc and whathaveyou).
If I know me, I know I just need to jump and then work out the details. It’s the research and feeling like I need to be able to know the answer every possible problem before I do.
Then I never do.
And I over think things too.
All that to say… I want to start. If I take the time to research too hard – I will get stuck in research land. Today is a day of doing.
DO LAND, if you will.
Therefore… here follows three printables. You can download and print. Or look at and be all, “She cray”.
But. At least I did not use the Comic Sans font. So I figure that’s one thing I have done right.
Plus, fun printables delight me. And I want to contribute to the delight.
Just click on the individual images below and it will take you to Dropbox where you can download. FOR FREE. If you download directly from my site, it will not be a high resolution (read: it will be a sucky print). I think. I don’t actually know.
Related: I am out of ink.
Probably because of all my printable printing.
With photo images, I encourage the use of photo paper.
Or at least use good cardstock.
My family loves ice cream. Thus an ice cream printable! I got an all print one from an Etsy shop that is hanging in my dining room.
If you have any issue with downloading, please let me know. I am doing rather than fretting.
If you like, please feel free to share or print and hang on your own wall! I just want you to find little hints of joy in your day to day. Like the printable I have leaning on my desk that helps hide that awful pear border… “she designed a life she loved…” This is part of me, doing that.
