I. Love. Buffalo. Chicken.

In any way I can get it… Straight-up, old fashioned wings dipped in Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing… on a buffalo chicken pizza…

Orrrrr…. AS A DIP.

BUFFALO CHICKEN is my love language.

Go buffalo chicken or go home.

Speaking of home, I have a favorite buffalo chicken recipe I make in MY home…

Three Cheese Ranch Buffalo Chicken Dip

I make it for parties and gatherings in my home…. I take it TO parties in others’ homes.

I am not complimenting myself when I say this is a crowd favorite. I am simply stating fact: CROWD FAVE.

And not only is it delicious, but it’s quick and easy to make as well.

I serve this buffalo chicken dip with slices of artisan French bread and/or pita chips. However, most cracker and bread choices are excellent options.

But my favorite method of deliver is via a good piece of fresh bread. Because I love bread.

A. Lot.

There isn’t much more taste bud magic in life than the magic between bread and some buffalo chicken dip.

The ingredient list for this three cheese ranch buffalo chicken dip is simple… Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, shredded chicken (I used canned), buffalo wing sauce, and three cheeses: cream, cheddar and blue!

You don’t have to use the bottled Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, you can also use the dressing packet to whip up your dressing and use that. But I use the bottled and it’s perfectly fabulous and ideal for cooking on the go!

Le Recipe for Three Cheese Ranch Buffalo Chicken Dip:

1 12 Oz. can of chicken drained and shredded

½ c. buffalo chicken sauce (I use Franks or Durkees)

1 block of cream cheese

½ c. Original Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing

½ c. blue cheese crumbles

½ c. grated cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350.

1) Mix and heat drained, shredded chicken and hot sauce.

2) Melt in block of cream cheese (cut into a few pieces to melt more efficiently).

3) Once cream cheese is melted, fold in Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, blue cheese crumbles, and grated cheddar cheese.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

I also like serving chips or veggies with Ranch dip mix combined with half mayo, half sour cream, and a clove of garlic. I used my handy dandy garlic press. That garlic adds a delicious, surprise kick!)

Veggies and /or chips and dip always makes people happy, but this Three Cheese Ranch Buffalo Chicken Dip doesn’t require much more effort. However… this dish takes me from just bringing something to bringing something AWESOME.

Have you ever had buffalo chicken dip? Have you ever MADE it? How is your version different from this one?
