Art of Animation Resort at Disney Social Media Moms

My kids.

They are not unlike any other kid around… What with their lust for fun, pools, and all things colorful.

Like moths to light.

LOOK! I'm just like Ariel!

Hey. Wait. That’s not one of my kids! THAT’S ME!

I’M JUST LIKE ARIEL!

Aaaaaanywho…

Why am I acting like a mermaid out of water??? Well, I am enjoying the fun and colors of the AMAZING Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

I was able view the not-even-open yet resort to check out what’s been brewing. I got to get a sneak peek inside the resort’s Finding Nemo family suites, which sleeps up to 6 – and opens the end of this month – May 2012!

Since I have a family of 5, finding a place that sleeps up to 6 is GREAT news.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort room

It’s hard to be a family of 5 in a world that builds hotel rooms for families of 4. Nothing like having to sneak book 2 rooms when you have one extra (LITTLE) body.

There are a few other things I was happy to see in the family suites:

  • Mini-fridge
  • Microwave
  • That table that turns to a bed.
  • I mean, who doesn’t love a table that turns to a bed, right?!

AND a great use of space… AND a super-fun and creative design.

My kids would lose their sweet little minds. I hope I can soonly make that happen.

YES. SOONLY IS A WORD.

It may not be in the dictionary, but you know you totes know what I meant. Hitherhencetofore, a word.

*eyes go wild*

Speaking of going wild…

JUMPING at Disneys Art of Animation Resort Hotel

Yeah, that’s me and that crazy Jyl of Mom It Forward. This isn’t the last you will see of our jumpingness while on the vast Disney World grounds.

YES. JUMPINGNESS IS A WORD.

So, behind Jyl and me is just part of the pool at the resort… in the light.

Wanna see it in the dark?

Disclosure: This is not “technically” a sponsored post. However. I attended the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration at a super, duper reduced rate… Some perks, a bit of VIPness and  swag may have been involved. OK, there was snag. A certain 7 year old is particularly taken with a Winnie the Pooh that jingles. Aaaanywho… . I have not been asked to promote nor share my experience. But I am sharing pieces of my experience because this is what I do – over-share. All the SMM attendees were invited to tour the the resort and were fed dinner. And cupcakes. Really yummy ones. But we didn’t swim. But some of us may or may not have tried to hula hoop. Operative word – TRIED…

Jenny and a hula hoop. FAIL.
